UROBÒRI
Contemporary art and archeology
Villa
Via Orti 25, Milan
The program is structured as a journey marked by storytelling, listening, and dialogue. The contributions outline a shared field of inquiry, where contemporary art and archaeology interact, creating a tension between their respective methods and genealogies. UROBÒRI emerged as an ideal extension of rasotèrra, the theme of the In-ruins 2025 residency. Rasotèrra explored the threshold between what emerges and what remains hidden: a territory where the seabed of the past has become a roof, a floor, an underground chamber. In-ruins is a project promoted by Archeofuturo APS since 2018 and carried out in collaboration with Fondazione Elpis since 2023.
In-ruins is composed by Nicola Guastamacchia, Marialuigia Gioffrè, and Nicola Nitido.
