Presentation of the outcomes from the workshop Il tempo e l'acqua, inspired by the book of the same name by Andri Snær Magnason, published by Iperborea, held from October 17 to 19 at Fondazione Elpis.
At the Fondazione Elpis, the outcome of the workshop led by the two artists takes shape, weaving together simple, shared actions—cutting, folding, tearing, gluing—into a collective installation made of paper, marks, and shadows.
The project stems from a reflection on the book Il tempo e l'acqua by Andri Snær Magnason (Iperborea, 2020), in which memory, myth, and climate change intertwine in a story that spans generations. In the presentation, the material becomes a visual and poetic language, a collective device that conveys to the public the experience lived during the workshop days.
From October 22 through November 2, visitors will be able to explore the workshop’s exhibition spaces.
